The sun was setting over LA as Hermès staged the second chapter of fall-winter 2026, created Nadège Vanhée.
According to the show notes, the FW collection was ‘a dialogue between structure and flou, tension and release’. And with the palm trees and sunset sky as its backdrop, this evocative collection certainly felt like a delicate dance of contrasts.
Sharp tailoring and sleek leather silhouettes were juxtaposed against the fluidity of silk and velvet fabrications, to lend a dynamic sense of movement.
Some of my particular favourite details included thigh high boots and slick back hair. Layered pearls and horse-bit chains. Knotted waists and hardware-draped belts. Floaty layers of diaphanous fabric that glittered like starlight and a bedazzled collar that danced with diamonds.
Marked by a spirit of refined elegance and punctuated with bold pops of colour, Hermès fall-winter 2026 felt like an ode to old school Hollywood glamour at its finest.
A place where reality and rêverie collide.
